After Nahed's husband abandons her for another woman, she dedicates her life to bringing up her three children. Dreaming of moving up the social ladder and ending the days of poverty and need for her family, Nahed pushes her youngest and prettiest daughter to be a singer and a star of music videos. With the help of the famous star-maker, video-clips director Nader, the little daughter makes it big in the glamorous world of music and show business. Yet as the family moves up in society and have fame, money and a big house in an upper class neighbourhood, jealousy and tensions rip the family apart. Also, Nahed and Nader start to disagree as she thinks that he is using her daughter. Loosely based on Bertold Brecht's play Die Sieben Todsüden der Kleinbürger (The Seven Deadly Sins, 1933).
